The book follows Jessica and the rest of her gang of zombies as they just try to make their way through their daily "lives." Dust is told from the point of view of Jessica and is unique because the zombies in the story are not just mindless flesh eating creatures, they also live and work together and ponder the ways of their new existance. Yet it still has all the gory and spooky moments of traditional zombie stories.

Really Big Bug...

I like scary movies, Halloween and most things horror related. However, I had a hard time sleeping last night with this guy hanging around outside my window. It's a Palo Verde Beetle. I've seen them before but I haven't see one this big in a long time.
